Design first, renovation second
Why the order matters
With most ID firms in Singapore, the first thing you get is a quotation contract. Only after paying the deposit and signing do you receive your first rendered 3D design. If the mockup is exactly what you expected, it’s smooth sailing.
And if it isn’t?
That is often where disputes begin: designs that don’t meet expectations, nicer materials that need top-ups, and so on. It is crucial to confirm what you will get before signing any quotation contract.

Who we are

JIAHOME was founded by a local couple who set out to renovate their own home, because they couldn’t find an ID firm that was trustworthy and truly understood what they wanted.
They started with design: tiles, colours, lighting and layout, all drafted in 3D. With 3D and 2D drawings in hand, getting accurate quotes from contractors suddenly became easy, and the contractors said so too.
That approach became JIAHOME: a process that improves the renovation experience, reduces risk and saves unnecessary costs.

What am I paying for?
Most interior design firms require a down payment or deposit before they produce any professional drawing or 3D perspective. With JIAHOME, we design your home layout first, without you committing to any design firm.
We propose ideas with mood boards, sample materials and produce up to 10 3D-rendered views for your renovation project.
Other than 3D and 2D drawings, what do I get?
A professional quotation covering all the work in your 3D drawings, without the prices filled in. You can collect quotes from contractors on exactly the same scope, without worrying about hidden costs or unreasonable variation orders (VOs).
How is my renovation project managed?
With your 3D views and bill of quantities (BQ) in hand, you have two choices.
1. Take it on yourself. Self-coordinating a renovation can be tedious, but many homeowners have done it well. You receive a guidebook on how to manage a renovation project (a guide only, as every renovation differs).
2. Leave it to us. We provide an experienced project manager to handle your project from start to finish.
What if I don’t like the designs?
We provide up to three major rounds of changes to concepts and drawings. If you are still not satisfied after that, we offer a fair amount of compensation and call it a day. Design is personal and we can’t promise to please everyone, but we do our best on every project.
