It began when a young, ambitious couple started building their first nest, and questioned whether interior designer markups were reasonable at all.
How it started
Almost 20 quotations, and not one we could trust
Like all first-time homeowners, we sourced quotations everywhere. We collected almost 20 of them, yet couldn’t shortlist a single one, with good reasons.
So we took our time designing the whole house with the help of a 3D CAD drafter, deciding on tiles, colours, lighting and layout. Then we requested quotes for each trade: flooring, plumbing, ceiling and so on.
With 3D and 2D drawings to show, talking to contractors had never been easier, and they told us it made their jobs easier too.
