Design-first, Renovation-second
So What's That?!
Generally, the first thing you would get out of any ID firm in Singapore would be a quotation contract. Upon paying the deposit, you will be signing a renovation contract with the firm, that's when you will then receive your first rendered 3D home design.
Now if the design mockup is exactly what you expect, it is going to be smooth sailing.
So What Happens If Not?
Many times, dispute begins here. The topics involved in the quality of designs aren't up to expectations, desired nicer material but require top-ups, and it goes on and on. The renovation became a nightmare since then.
Therefore, it is very crucial to confirm what you will be getting, before signing up any quotation contract, just so you avoid any sort of dramatic experience.
JIAHOME.SG is here for this reason.
What's our Services?
We provide all the services needed for homeowners to skip the ID queue, and have a chance to be hands-on with their own nest building and yet save a significant amount of renovation cost.

Typically, hiring an Interior Designer for renovation is charged a fee determined by a percentage of the project cost. On the other hand, an Interior consultant charges a fixed fee instead.
Reduce risk of miscommunication
Communication and management are crucial when it comes to renovation. Therefore, over at JIAHOME, you will receive professionally rendered 3D drafts, and 2D layout plans to avoid any sort of miscommunication.
Visualise your home before contracts
We understand very often homeowners are taking a leap of faith that the Interior designers or contractors understand what they wanted. By consulting JIAHOME will reverse the process with visualization first, followed by project management; with a choice of self-coordination.
A quick story about how we started.
JIAHOME is founded by a local couple, who started off with a conversation about renovating our upcoming house ourselves because we couldn't find an ID firm that is trustworthy and really understand what we wanted at the same time!
Pretty bold idea, huh!?
As we carry on, problems start piling up. From shortlisting contractors, to what to do and what to avoid, the list goes on and on which builds up major insecurities. We do have a plan, but it was everywhere. So we settle down, and we decided the first thing to tackle is Design and Concept.
We took our time in designing the whole house and making decisions on the tiles, color choice, lighting, layout, and everything else with the help of a 3D CAD drafter. Now, everything looks pretty clear cut and all we need to do is to shortlist our contractors and buy what's needed, right?! After throwing our requests out we get all the quotations we need, specifically for each work, for eg. floor work, plumbing work, ceiling work etc.
Now we have the 3D and 2D we needed, communicating with contractors has never been that easy. All we do is, hey we have this [Image], please quote us, and we get it. We also heard from our contractors that it is a lot easier to understand what we want this way; apparently, most say messing up is the last thing they wanted as well.
The whole journey experience is amazing, trust me, nothing satisfies you more than doing your own project, even if it doesn't turn out as good. So basically this is our approach, to come out with a flow that helps and improves the renovation experience, reduces risks, and saves unnecessary costs.

Interior Designer Firm
Under certain circumstances, we do have requests coming in that they would like to hire us for a vision, before settling down with any ID company for their renovation work.
As you might already know, an Interior Design firm will quote you based on the Mood board + layout planning. However, design mockups usually come after deposits. While you are thinking if you should trust your ID know what you wanted, why not spend some time and figure it out before signing your contract?
JIAHOME will be here, fulfilling this request.
